A comedy about a young girl who has been put in charge of handling her morbidly obese aunt’s funeral and estate. Putting the ‘fun’ back in funeral, it is a day when all the skeletons come out of the close to play: a strange obsession with turtles, a lesbian love affair, and a greedy, though amusing, cousin. What else could go wrong?

Alyssa has just received the youPhone, the newest, most technologically advanced cell phone on the market. It even has a talk-back mode to answer questions! Everything is great….until it starts spilling all her secrets. Will her life be ruined or can she stop it in time?

Airport security- it’s a trip.

Two innocent passengers embark upon a routine journey to the airport. He’s just trying to read his newspaper. She’s just trying to make it onto the flight and home. Will a power-tripping security guard stop them? Or will they stand in their own way? It’s drama and toilets and ohmygosh is-that-a-bomb? in the one-act comedy located at gate 48B.

This one-act takes place in a time that has not yet happened, in a world that does not quite exist. What happens when the generation of couples that met on the internet have children? We follow that idea into the farcical world of Brian, a boy whose parents met on the internet, and then revealed it to everyone by starring in an internet dating site commercial. In one fell swoop, Brian’s biggest secret is revealed and his whole life is ruined. Or is it?

Two Can Keep a Secret (If One is Dead)
Death doesn’t break the ties that bind-
it only bends them a little.

In this dark comedy, we see the test of sisterhood. Tricia has just died and it is up to her little sister Meredith to hold it all together. Because even after we die, we have secrets to keep. Like those two boyfriends of Tricia’s that will be showing up at her funeral any minute now….uh-oh!
The Last Dance
In the dance of love, you must find your own rhythm.

A one-act that explores that intricacies of first love and first heartbreak. If love is a dance and two people are in rhythm, what causes the music to change? Who moves with the new beat- and who fights against it? Will someone bow out, or will the dance go out, out of beat and out of time? A young boy and girl explore all of this in a heartbreaking piece that shows emotional vulnerability at its best and worst, and what exactly it means to be truly alive.
